Looks like there's a lot of agreements here.
3  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Ship Hull Upgrade Cost on: March 19, 2013, 09:03:24 AM
Hello. I noticed that the ship hull upgrade cost is the same as buying. In my opinion, it kinda defeats the purpose of upgrades. My suggestion is to make the hull upgrade cost independent from buying cost, unless your buying a ship, then the price be normal as it is. Also, why having the price the same? You might as well buy a new ship instead of upgrading cause the price is the same, and sell the old ship once module transfered to new ship. Let's say you have a shuttle, it cost 46,000 and you want to upgrade it to frigate which cost 104,000, then that's, if I did math right, it'll cost 68,000 for the upgrade from shuttle to frigate, sounds better than paying full "brand new" price of 104,000. Having the hull upgrade price the same as buy price, but...eh...com'on...that seriously don't sound right, it's like buying a used vehicle on brand new lot. Well, back to playing, see you soon.

I'm beginning to like this post!
5  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Corp Message Increase on: March 12, 2013, 11:16:46 AM
Hello. I though it would be nice for all to cast their vote on this, was going with the normal topic, but decided to use the vote feature, that way other can vote on this as well. 255 chars may sounds like a lot, but if you include space, it'll add up quickly. My suggestion is to bump it up to say 500 to compensate for the space, which is a char. In my honest opinion, it sounds reasonable, especially to people of rank in their corp that needs to explain in details, yet, without having to do multiple posts just to finish sentences, this will reduce the amount of post(s) they'll have to do just to get detailed info out to their members. To me, it's quite reasonable and not asking for much. Have fun and be safe in galaxy.

True. I'll just stick with the people instead, as you said, they worth more than a few gram or whatever of resource.

True, and i forgot about the people that one paid for. True about the general escape pod for people, but there can be some sort of escape pod to try to save the hard earned resources collected on the space station. On the general escapt pod, it may include cargo capacity say, 5-10 max, while it's not a lot, but at least they'll try to escape with little something, providing if they're lucky during the escape the battle.

Hello all. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and ready for New Years PAR-TAY!!

Anyway, here's an idea. How bout an escape pod just for the resource only, not the modules stored in cargo bay though, every space station and mining modules will be equiped with this as standard equipment? When the station or mining modules is under attack and when the percentage or whatever gets to certain numbers, it'll lauch the pod, but not before that number. In doing so, the resource is jettisoned to try to save the resource, BUT, it can be attacked as well with say, 5-20% chance of escaping, but if unsuccessful, well, you get the idea, they got the loot. It will either send it to Earth orbit or to the safe spot in the same galaxy the station's in (aka, you have no say in that, in combat, it's a rapid decision and may not be the best) and only your ship, aka, the owner can retrieve it, and will be notified in report section, and can be plotted either in the navigation or nav computer to pick it up by going there, but you will need to go to the cargo tab to order a retrieval of the pod, that way you'll see if you have enough space to carry it in. Just a thought in a nice feature.
