Title: Cargo Bays to new ships? Post by: Arctic on March 23, 2013, 12:46:14 AM Unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't make sense to me when you have a new ship, you can't give it cargo bays without it having cargo bays. Why would you not be able to transfer a cargo bay from one ship to an empty spot on another ship?

Then build the rest in what space you get from those cargo spaces. You get used to it after a while. I usually build advanced bays on another ship. Buy a cargo bay for the new ship. Transfer an advance bay to it. Equip it. Switch some more to it. Sell the regular cargo. It can be a slight pain but I am used to it.

Same goes in reverse, not sure why certain modules that your trying to take from a station have to move to an install slot, instead of just transferring it to a cargo bay. Game should be consistent one way or another.

Just like when you have marines or a living quarters on a station/planet you should be able to move personnel around on them from module to module like on a ship. Title: Re: Cargo Bays to new ships? I have a cargo bay inside of a cargo bay, but I can't sell the stored cargo bay, I have to sell the one installed on my ship already, which I can't do, because it has a cargo bay in it :P
