A series of unknown events have appeared in the Sol system. We've just received a report from our best scientists:
It appears that the high volume of traffic using the Wormhole technology around Sol has has some unusual side effects. Unstable wormholes have appeared and are coming in and out of existence around heavily used trade and resource lines. We don't know yet how these events might affect our ships.
While captains can investigate these events and bring more information, extreme caution is advised.

I tried to redeem my pledge Wormhole locator & Black Hole locator to locate the new Unstable wormholes that have appeared and it says the project is not yet complete. Is there something I do not understand?

I guess this is a separate update from the main update. Maybe SirEmi is just testing the wormholes. I already went through one of them.

Upon further investigation and having received reports from explorers, it seems the the unknown events are actually unstable wormholes. We've also received information of an extremely large signature at the edge of our local group of stars, near exit point of the wormholes...
As of yet it it unknown what this huge signature exactly is...
Note: Project has been extended by 7 days to cover the rest of the story. The event generation system took a bit more time then expected, so it will be released in parts. This way it could also be presented as an unfolding story.

http://forum.astro-galaxy.com/index.php/topic,8799.msg72776.html#newEnjoy the story line lol. Look forward to the development of our science to further investigate these anomalies. Though i no longer belong to SOL corp, I am willing to volunteer some of my vessels to further research for all humanity the potential of what we are encountering, and be prepared with warships should there be any alien hostilities to protect the SOL corp fleet

The latest reports indicate the unusual anomalies around Sol are converging around an extremely large anomaly.
The information we have so far indicates a huge wormhole at the edge of our local group of stars. The first volunteers that went into the big anomaly have detected what appears to be a huge star cluster / pocket of stars at the other end.
Estimated distance seems to be around 1500 Light Years NE of Sol. The size is estimated as a bit bigger then our local cluster, however the stars density seem higher near the core and less near the edge of the cluster. One explorer presented information that one quadrant near the center contains 16 stars!

LOL Anyway.. SirEmi, would it be too much to ask if you would create a single and separate official thread about the new updates? This update definitely backs up the story behind the game.
