61  General Talk / General Discussion / Re: Worm Hole Location on: December 21, 2018, 09:17:28 AM
Or ... You could have one of your members park a scout ship at the wormholes and monitor them, then update your Corporation forum. But that's none of my business. 12

It helps to work in IT. And SPQNR is home to Insomniacs Anonymous.
I've actually improved. Now averaging 5 hours of sleep per night, (with naps throughout the day). I will admit to taking time to empty my hoppers whenever I get up to pee, and several times throughout the day while Yule shopping. The marvels of the smart-phone.

EDIT ... as an interesting side note, I have now been on the SPQNR Executive Council more than half of the time I've been playing AG. Just over 6 months.

Thank you, Sargas, for reviving this interesting topic. I wish to make a few comments now, (as I am almost sure to forget to do so on the appropriate days).

I was not aware that January was "National Oatmeal month" ... As a Scotsman I must say BRAVO! ... which reminds me. You left out Robert Burns' birthday celebration on the 25th. Get your haggis ready.

Happy anniversary to EOS on the first.  I refuse to limit my celebration of "Play God Day" to a single day, (the 9th).  Happy birthday to you on the 13th.

A warning that there is danger involved in limiting "Appreciate a Dragon Day" to a single day, (the 16th). My dog, Skittles, will be sure to make the most of "Squirrel Appreciation Day" on the 21st.

Finally, Thank you for reminding me of "Spouse's Day" on the 26th ... It will behoove me to remember it as it is the one day that I must suspend my celebration of "Play God Day".

Sincerely
Gildavinor

Isn't it "all-y'all"?

Seriously though, SPQNR also extends its greetings. I don't have anything to add to what Sargas has said. He is, as usual, spot on.

I agree about the COM missions. Some players like to stack one hijacker mission with one looter mission. Being able to tell them apart, (by color or some other method), would save a lot of hopping about and burning extra fuel.

I agree ... this would be a fairly easy fix. Since we also have a coder/developer in SPQNR, (that being StarGazer), I think we should ask him to get the coding done so that all Sir Emi has to do is implement it.

What he lacks in gaming experience he makes up for as a creative writer. Good thing I'm more of a technical writer or I would feel my job was threatened.  laugh

Welcome to AstroGalaxy. I think you'll find this game offers a lot of varied activities to keep you busy. There isn't a lot of PvP, the game isn't really geared for it, but there are a lot of other challenges.
I'm rather new here myself, but most of the community has been exceptionally kind and helpful. I hope you experience is as positive as mine has been.

He attacked one of our members, got himself put on the KOS list, and didn't have the sense to stay out of sight. I think he quit in disgust after a sound whooping.

And Gildavinor is in my old role as the administrative biatch to the Consuls 13
I prefer "whipping boy". 16

I have never spent any real world money and I have had no problem spending QP on VIP status or anything else. I have never tried transferring to another player, but from what I read all you need is VIP status. I just trade AP for QP, and sell the occasional ADR.

NoBrain is the keeper of all things mine related, Marcus is our banker, but StarGazer and Kcin Regnad are our head honchos. They have final say. Either of them would do, but, (in my opinion), Kcin is the more decisive of the two.
72  General Talk / General Discussion / Re: Mutual Mining Agreement on: October 08, 2018, 01:06:17 PM
how will you handle a customer who cannot transfer QP?
Do you mean a customer without VIP status? If they are a member of a Corp they could do it through a proxy. If they are a Lone Wolf without VIP status they probably probably wouldn't be a serious enough miner to become a signatory to this agreement in the first place. If you mean they don't have enough QP to make the purchase, and they can't afford to buy them, then they wouldn't be buying a PT to begin with.

You are either very kind or you're as daft as they are, (I shouldn't discount the possibility that both are true).  5

Concerning the sliding fee. I believe the idea stems from the speed at which the resource can be harvested, but as I've said before, I'm just a noob and there is a lot I don't understand. I would think/hope that this could be negotiable.

As for payment in diamonds, and trust issues, I have never seen any evidence that you, specifically, could not be trusted. I can't say that for everyone in other Corps, nor do I speak for everyone in my Corp. This again should be a non issue in my opinion, at least when dealing with EOS.

I am in the unique position of being one of the newest members of the game, newest member of my Corp, and being elected into an office on the executive counsel. And they allow me to author this agreement ... What were they thinking?
75  General Talk / General Discussion / Re: Mutual Mining Agreement on: October 07, 2018, 06:40:02 PM
Percentage is of the deposit value. The easiest way to make a payment between players from different Corps, (without involving the GCA), would be in Quantum Points.
