Hi all,
SurvivorX here.
I was just browsing the internet around for space exploration/ mining games and I stumbled across this. I'm not very sure if I can dive deep into this but I decided to give it a try.
I was doing the Space Exploration Academy missions rather smoothly (I assume that's the tutorial?) until the part where I had to do an inter-stellar mission and deploy an orbital station or a mining facility. Long story short, I went to that distant star, realised most of the planets are already colonised by another player, and I can't find an empty spot to deploy my things to complete the tutorial mission. Then I basically hopped around different planets in that system until I ran out of fuel.
Is this supposed to happen? Or did I mess up in a huge way? I was under the impression that the tutorial will be held in a controlled environment where I can definitely deploy my mining facilities in a reserved spot SOMEplace. Anyway I couldn't find a way out of it (other than trying out the distress signal thing) so I restarted my tutorial. Before I embark on this journey again, some tips to prevent me from getting into the same situation will be greatly appreciated
Some general questions I have for this game:
- Will my AP keep increasing forever without a cap?
- Does this game reset periodically?
- Should I find a guild / corporation (whatever is the term here) as soon as I can?
- Is there some place where I can store my unused modules instead of constantly selling and rebuying them when my ship runs out of slots and cargo space?
Thanks alot!
