Title: A Question for Corporate Leaders
Post by: sargas on July 14, 2015, 11:35:12 AM
At what point do you 'kick' a member for being AWOL?

For me....1000 hours +  :)) Unless I need some member space urgently.

"Dead weight"  :P According to JJL.

If the player has been in for a long time and we feel like they are part of our family we will leave them in for as long as me or another leader wants. But typically between 500-1000 hours.

Buying more member slots is cheap. I don't mind having some inactives

It used to be 500 hrs in New Rome, but, inspired by your previously stated policy Emperor, we may officially make that 1000 hrs, or longer when given prior notice.

@Raptor: You should probably just ask Rostin to make a new policy regarding inactives...

Inactives will never be kicked unless we are in need of member space.

Great idea?

Some extra corporation points  :14:

We don't care for the rankings mate :)

And the proper process in New Rome is to make a proposal in the Senate. If backed by a majority (or supermajority in case of a change to the Constitution), the Executive is *ordered* (for the want of a better word) to implement it. Any Senator (so that includes Rostin) could make such a proposal.

I realise that's not to the taste of many royals :P

You could say LSK is a half-monarch, half-democratic corporation. Whatever the King says goes, but he's not very decisive about lots of stuff, so votes are still held once in a while.  :P
