We have a new member requesting to join ITO, but it isn't showing up in the "Requesting to join" section in the members area.

I know he's applied twice as I've gotten the confirmation messages to prove it:

""[SOL] Dracoazul(#4119)
04-Jul-2014 13:40
Corporation join request

Someone has requested to join your corp."

...But he's still not showing up in the "Reqesting to join" area. On his side he says it does show the application as pending.

Maybe the guy is requesting to join and then deleting his request? Or does someone have the power to accept him within the corp and they are denying him..  Could be a thing where he was added on your corp joining ignore list at some point.

Theoretically that's possible but I kinda doubt it. I'd think he'd know and it wouldn't show up as 'pending' if he was deleting it. I have members with authority to accept/deny, but they've orders to let him in and the last time he applied I think I was the only one online at the time and it didn't show up. And he's a super new player so unless somebody hit ignore when he applied that's not it(and I think they'd tell me if they did lol).

But those are good suggestions- maybe I should clear the block list and see if that does it. I didn't think of that one so thanks.

how "super new" is he? finished academy yet?
anyway, what i read here is probably a user error thing.
The other thing with giving auth to accept a member to other corp members, is that so far in my experience, only i have ever been allowed to accept a member, regardless as to who i authorise to accept on my behalf, as a corp leader.

He's user 4119 (of 4154 users thus far) and he's fresh out of the SEA course.

I've checked the permission "Can accept / decline new members" and it seems that it didn't work properly since the corp ships update.
So you needed corp ships permissions as well, to be able to accept / decline / block new member applications.
It should work correctly now.

I also checked the new member application process and it works fine. He can only apply to one corporation at a time, so it's most likely he cancelled his application shortly after.
You should message him and let him know he can apply again now if he wishes.

I will make a note, to include it in future updates:

To add a corporation log that will show all new application events, who accepted / declined / blocked, or if the application was cancelled.
Also, all members with the "Can accept / decline new members" should get a message notification on new applications, not just the leader.

Or maybe there's some kind of time-out now? Whatever it is I'm glad it worked out too and I thank SirEmi for his promptly addressing it.
