Captains with VIP computers will have better navigation and combat computers granting: -33% jump calculation speed for interplanetary / interstellar jumps +33% ship combat speed For navigation, VIP status computer can be combined with Navigation officer like this: 100 seconds * 0.67 from officer * 0.67 from VIP computer = 44.89 seconds Ship optimizations can further reduce this timer. Fuel Cells costs are not affected by navigation bonuses. |
