Title: Hangar bay combat glitch, bug/exploit Post by: Dadds on August 09, 2013, 02:15:47 AM Hi Sir Emi.
I have discovered an issue where you can have a combat ship in hangar bay and have that carrier ship start a combat timer calculates for the carrier ship only. When you go and look at the current attacks however, and you click view battlefield, the combat shows all ships involved including hangared ships, and a longer combat counter. This could potentially be used as a timer exploit by loading a powerful ship inside a weaker carrier to get a short counter on large combat missions, i am guessing. (Not tested the theory out yet) Regards, Dadds Title: Re: Hangar bay combat glitch, bug/exploit Post by: Dadds on August 09, 2013, 06:04:44 AM nope. tested the theory. The ship deploys out of hangar bay and the counter timer increases proportionately. The bug is just a cosmetic one that makes you think you can open fire until you click the button and then any ships in hold deploy and adjusts the timer to correct values

It would be nice to have an option to undock or not before (or during) a battle. I don't think those will come into play until there are more advances in corporate ships (fleet manauvers specificly)... |
