I'v been on every day since I found the game, but I'm new and still on my "honeymoon". I don't anticipate taking more than a day, maybe two, off at a time anytime in the near future.

Awesome Game !!

Only 2 in SSS.

Not that newbies don't apply. They do all the time but I just reject them.  :))

I know we here @AG have played a lot of on-lines games..I know myself have, and I can say Jimgalaxy, and StefanAlexander have too.
Almost 17 plus years ago I came across Jimgalaxy on a on-line game name stargatewars, and they had to change their name due to copyright laws gatewars,ect//..But some how caught up with Jimgalaxy again here...I am sure Jim went back to gatewars, and having fun doing what he likes, like me!! Now we have app games on our phone?? we can take them with us leaving the computer home.... I am starting to like app games because I can jump on line anytime I have free time...
Happy hunting guys....

I played a game called Solar Fleet. The developers let it die, :(  I see now where they have re-released it, but I won't chance it after my first experience. I also played Astro-Empires. Conceptually it was a very good game. The community playing it made the experience a nightmare. It's PvP and extremely vicious. Poor sportsmanship was the norm. They seemed to delight in getting players to quit.  This gaming community is orders of magnitude superior to theirs.

http://www.freeorion.org/index.php/Main_Page is a game I found recently. It is very good for a free game. The one I am trying to learn now is also a free game: Aurora 4x. It is very complex.

Thanks Matamaure  :)

Next time I can afford an extended "break" will venture into Aurora's procedural universe

I play AE, but it does have a vicious play-style. I much prefer this community and do not bother with the big groups in AE, because they are evil. the smaller groups like mine are ok, tho. AG has nothing to encourage violence, or at least very little, so it just doesn't happen that much. If you got extra solars from occupying mining colonies from enemies, like in AE, I guarantee the community would be much bigger, as well as much more similar to AE's. More people would stay because it would be more fast paced, but it would be filled with war. I much prefer living in this peaceful yet unrealistic galaxy without war or strife.
