I'm from the United States, where we have a long tradition of selling arms to potential enemies so that we can be attacked by them. It keeps the war industry active and profitable.

If the modules being sought are only "larger than Mk 50", I don't think an embargo is called for. Not sure you could realistically call anything that small "military grade" in any case.
