Title: Universe questions and opportunities
Post by: Tony2x on September 20, 2012, 04:49:52 PM
I am new to the game, but see the long term potential...
I want to ask is the universe at the moment extensive and for the most part unexplored and if so is there anywhere else besides Earth to trade?
I am guessing people who have stations are keeping them for storage and not letting others on board and if they do let them on board can they buy products that they have?
also is answering distress calls for fuel cells a good business opportunity.

Yes, of course if you have a fast ship you could be the first to explore that, maybe find some big planet and strike it rich with rare deposits  :wow:

For advice, I would manually move around there a bit, try to get explore each quadrant and find the stars, and add each one of em to the nav computer when you jump to it, so you can find it later on... also may be good to jump on each planet / moon / belt and survey it and use the notepad to note the best places to establish a mining / base.
