What's the point of a pirate corp? It just signal to anyone seeing you "This is a pirate. Kill if you can, flee otherwise."

Well Yeah Mostly, Cause your not really a pirate if your not flying the [OX] skull and crossbones now are ya?

Were not really a tight knit Corp working together for the greater good, more a sort of loose affliliation of like minded Captains willing to engage in a little bit of information sharing.

Besides, we do have a catchy corp song ! and as much rum as you can steal.

Well, I don't think Piracy is worth it. Sure, a bit looting here and there when the occasion rpesent itself, but if you're going to be online 24/7, you might as well move colonists around.

A word of advice to the so-called "pirates":
Invest heavily on engines. So that when you see me, you can run away, you little cowards.

We are peace-loving miners, but I can assure you, we will fight back heavily if you dare enter our system again.

One would perhapes hope for a little more poesy, but its better than nothing.

I am still awaiting my first love letter. After 2 days of playing the game I am out of the academy and am already having some fun.  My pirating at the moment though is mostly limited to attacking weak targets I happen to run across as I am doing transport missions. So far I have had some success. Certainly more then if I tried mining right away.  I won't dis others for how they want to play the game though. After all playing how we want is just part of the fun. Besides if it wasn't for pirates, there are a lot of players who would get bored with just mining. With pirates around there is more for the miners to do. Such as try to protect their mines better and keep a look out for us pirates.

From one I am hearing from one of my contacts, apparently there is a lot of talk about me on the SOL Corp forums. Looks like my fame is growing. lol

Ahh my early days.  When I did it to get by. But I did enjoy the attention. After all I think a lot of newbies would enjoy making a name for themselves good or bad. At the time it was even kind of fun.  But like all good players I did grow up and became a more responsible player.  Also Sargas was never in OX. lol

[OX] actually chased me out of SOL system and into the great north woods when I was about a week or so out of the acadamy.

There is a good story about how PMI was formed.
