Astro Galaxy - a realistic space exploration game

I'm Cpt. Kvala, a science fiction writer, probably the best sci-fi writer from my backyard, somewhere on planet Earth.
Trying hard to make a living on this game, working to earn some solars to make a dream comes true: a small distant planet for me, with a green backyard for my retirement.

Maybe I'll write a novel inspired by this game, with all you guys as characters. After all, exploring deep space is still science fiction :))

Yeah a lot of us are pretty friendly and helpful. Though there are some who don't like me much cause I like to raid people from time to time. lol

I have a question for all of you: why under my signature in this forum says "unidentified captain"?
Some of the players have different ranks. Is this a result of some sort of bravery in game?

as far as I can tell, your rank (pvt, pfc, cpl, sgt, etc) is based upon the number of posts in the forum...

I don't raid often and never raid in Sol System. Though if you are mining in 0,0 there is always a chance I might find your stuff and loot it. If I do I apologize in advance. I do it for profit.  The smart thing is to try not to mine in 0,0. But it is up to you how you want to play the game.

Well... I don't mine at all. Yet. But I'll remember your advice when or if I'll start to mine.

I am Dadds, leader of the corporation, [IMG] If you want an idea for a novel, read our forum posts, particularly the rivalry between our corp and the PMI pirating corps, and ultimate peace treaties etc. I reckon over the last 12 months between us we have written a novel haha

Bravery to chat and put your own opinion to the forums only, sorry to say. If you care about public opinion or are sensitive to being "unliked or unloved" Dont post. As a writer though, i am guessing you dont care about critics lol
I have a negative "like" against my postings, which i wear as a badge of honour lol
It just means that the children out there dont like what i have to say most times, and votes me down. Its their way of scoring some sort of victory in their minds, when they cant win a victory over words. I find it humorous. (sorry i will try to stop teasing the animals:poke:poke)

I rarely make use of the reputation stuff anymore.  Though after this I figured I would give you another one of them badges of honor you love so much. I just couldn't resist lol

Thanks a lot. I was just curious about ranks. Also, don't care about reputation (+/- on comments). But I liked the answer "Bravery to chat and put your own opinion to the forums only". I guess it's a kind of bravery, though. You have to be a brave man to talk with strangers, isn't it?
Anyway, all of you guys, bad or good, with + reputation or not, with high ranking or not, with strong ships or poor... you are my only support and teachers on my way to rich the stars   :19:
