Astro Galaxy - a realistic space exploration game

Some sort of hall of fame would be nice where the top 10 of certain categories are listed (like most number of pvp battles, pvp battles won and lost, income, research points, most minerals/gas mined, etc). The actual figure need not to be stated, just the ranking would be enough.  :)

That is a good idea! It is alway interesting to see the own standing.

It would tell the secret startegies of competing players. Those strategies should stay secret.

As an example: I do not want anyone to know how much research I do.

For those reasons, I like the system as it is: a top score that is a represaentation of the power of a player with out reveling the path used to achive it.

I have no problem with this. bigest: SOS, COM... or won/lost battle but separate the PvP from the COMs, Also to know who is active, total SOS and COM ...

I also agree with these things, definitely something that should be added in the future.

sometimes it could make others despair. That would be funny also haha. But it could also make most people quit with the knowledge they feel they could never catch up.
Well let me tell you, it is possible to catch up haha
It would be nice to have monthly updates on certain leaderboards though, and perhaps a little reward for top prize every month.

How about just a top ranking each week for different things. That might be less intimidating.

SirEmi, kindly add this to the list of projects. This obviously has the community's support. This is also something very easy to program compared to the current projects, so I think it shouldn't require a lot of pledged QPs and ETA should be short. As for the reward, it's up to you. maybe just use some of the existing rewards. :)

I have no care regarding any 'Top-Ten' lists,   All I need to know is:

I am sargas, the leader of the Sargasian Empire.  

My Empire is granted to me by birth-right (I mean that I am sargas of the Empire of Sargas).

The only other 'Empire' that is around is the result of a name change (by both the corporation and it's leader).

Ralph, if you read at the beginning of the topic, not everyone agree with it, I had limitations on it as too intrusive.

As I stated in the first post, it doesn't need the exact number like the way it's shown in the power rating ranking. It will just display the ranks but no numbers, and its up to us players to guess the people's actual number.

We all have a general idea of where we stand, but it would be nice to see who exactly is on top in one criteria. The power rating is too vague for me.


There is no great secret strategy in playing this game.LOL Besides, it's just a ranking, not a walkthrough to becoming a top player. :)
