There's a big interface update coming that will make it much much more easier to implement new missions, dialogs and such. The dialogs will be mobile friendly like you see below: (http://astro-galaxy.com/screens/dialog_SEA.gif) You will be able to interact better with your passengers, events, missions, distress signals etc. Also adding new drawing technology that will enable us to use some of the client browser resources to draw on pictures, greatly increasing the level of immersion because there will be special missions with space monsters etc. The system view, star maps etc. will also get a boost, making the nav computer data available while in the system view and having it display properly on mobiles as well: (http://www.astro-galaxy.com/screens/system.gif) (http://astro-galaxy.com/screens/new_scr3.gif) We're also implementing the new resource called Action Points (AP) that will help new players get started, will be usable to speed up the ship timer. Unless this was really necessary to implement the things we have been wanting for like forever I kinda couldn't care less about this particular update... especially since it will likely make the game run slower for me and my garbage computer lol.
Maybe we will get novas or mining upgrades or combat fixes or new missions next time... maybe... probably not... highly unlikely... |
