This is War.

The Scorpion Corporation of Renegade Pirates has sounded a universal call to arms against the PvP Corp that has been constantly terrorizing its assets in Tau Ceti. It has destroyed three of SCORP's major satellites at Tau Ceti and forced a relocation to another system. Fortunately, Madden had received a warning from insiders within the PVP Corp and managed to empty out the cargo bays and MAUs he had guarding the base. He left a few useless modules for the PVP Corp members to attack.

"I never wanted a war with them," Captain Madden, King of SCORP was quoted as saying. "In fact, I was willing to help them. But today, this peace is history. You want a war, you'll get one. I had been itching for a war anyway, so I'm pretty happy I can use those new MAUs I had manufactured. Besides, I just realized Tau Ceti is really far away compared to the other stars, so a relocation was in fact already planned. This attack has just sped up the relocation.

"I hereby wish to sound a universal call to arms to all other corporations to take down this rising force," M'Adden continued. "They may be a small corporation, but if taken lightly or ignored, will soon grow into a formidable force and you will be left regretting the day you decided not to attack their ship. Besides, at least your COM ships will be able to do something else rather than doing COM missions."

As a combat veteran of both IMG wars, I have determined that war is unproductive. It garners no lasting revenue.

Besides, when he decided to join the PvP corp, he had severed all ties with SCORP, he should have known better than to leave a module on Tau Ceti without asking me first. Pirates dont like deserters who leave their stuff at the base even after theyve deserted.

The Empire has just received word that an imperial citizen was attacked by cadd before joining the Empire. The Empire is taking a closer look at the activities of PvP, and is starting to lean towards a harsh admonishment.

As soon as PvP immediately cease their hostilities against SSS, the Syndicate will not bother going after them. :)

Madden fully admitted to lying about his post, and people that support him are our enemies.
This happened a few days ago.
Madden started a timer on a member (Cadd), and i was lucky enough to be online at the time.
I must say it felt like a trap, since one of SPQRNs Corp ships named 'PVP swatter' was also in place at the planet.

You picked a fight with at least two corps, one with the greatest recce network in AG history. OF COURSE we'll always be on your heels. That's why you might want to stop twisting everyone's words, admit PVP are the ones who wanted this, craved this and started this, and take genuine steps to end what YOU started. And I say that with the best intentions. It's an olive branch (yes it involves a bit of carrot-and-stick, it's war after all), but it takes two sides for it to work.

You twisted the story. I did start an attack timer, but considering that you were the main target and Cadd didnt really bother me much, I cancelled the attack. I know that cadd was online because he was online in the forums. And I did leave my ship vulnerable to see how your tech was growing. Nice lasers btw, but I just got some armors from a friend, lets see how your lasers work next time.

You sound like we started the war, but you have the ability to end it so wh didnt you? You tryibg to sound like we started the war but in reality u r enjoying it too.

I just wanna say I have a personal score to settle with PVP as well.  They went after a couple of things I had on a planet. Not that I was doing anything with it. Old stuff of raph's i think I took back in the day. lol. But it is the principal of the matter.  I am not bringing my corp into it though. Nor will I actively look for them.  But if i see them, I will swat them. lol

Heh. So, I'm a small fry who just started this past week. My first MK I station and first two MK I MIFs, placed six days ago, in an otherwise *abandoned* asteroid field, got unceremoniously wiped away today by Scorpirus of PVP. Considering the wide-open field, that kinda sucks :-/ In fairness, as I've explored over my first week, I've made a few hits as well on (from what I could tell) inactive independent SLB's and MIFs, to see how things work.

Question: I'm still SOL at the moment. I'm gathering from some other posts, that's kinda like a flashing 'N00b' sign ... true or false? Thanks for feedback.

Now to your question: it's true. You can play the game however you want, but if you want to grow faster, you have to leave Sol. The next best step for you to grow is to join a corp, and there is no better corp for that than SSS. As long as you log in every day, we will accept you. We offer QPs, advanced modules, tips, and protection.

Whatever you do though, good luck and have fun. :)

For survival, you have to leave SOL, period!

But, I do disagree with the leader of SSS.
He may well believe that his corporation is the best, but we all know that the best corporation is the Empire.




Seriously though, give some thought to joining a corporation (or start your own). You will receive a lot more help than SOL Corp will give. Any of the top corps can help you better than you can get now.

Many of those self-declared "empires," yet I see none. The only corp with an actual and noticable empire is SSS.  :))

I no longer argue semantics...

Last time I checked you were a Syndicate.  Not an empire lol.   But we all know how big and tough you are.  A lot of us have dropped back recently in points cause we are just bored.  I am barely on these days.  I find the same seems to be happening with my people.  Of course I know I am not the only corp that is experiencing this.  Rostin has mentioned having the same issue with SPQNR.   Some of the people I got from SSS on my friends list have gone inactive. NHC and ITO are experiencing this as well.  I haven't checked with Sargas yet but I have noticed that Mata hasn't been on much so i am guessing EOS is having the same problems. It is sad that this game has gone downhill.  It had such great potential.

The EoS is experiencing the same things as are y'all.

Now that we cannot speed up non-pvp attack timers, there is not much of a reason to check in for hundreds of hours, so a lot of us are afk longer.

We are growing however, Two captains have joined the Empire this week. They are young but show considerable promise.

Hopefully things will improve when the current pledge is finished and we can finally move on to new upgrades (encounters, monsters, artifacts, alien ships, etc).

Yes mata I know your still get on.  But your not often as much these days.  just like many of us.  There used to be a time when the group of us were on daily.  I sometimes see you not on for over 24 hours now.   My point stands.  None of us are on like we used to and many of us are losing our drive to get on as much.
