Title: Module level in mark upgrade screen
Post by: CarolusRex on May 18, 2015, 03:27:40 AM
Currently in the mark upgrade screen when you have selected a module for upgrade, the next mark is automagically written into the desired mark field. So, if your module is mark 50, the field will read "51".

Could you please change this and use the player's maximum level for the tech instead? So, if your module is 50, and your tech level for the module is 100, the field will read "100" by default.

I don't know about the rest of the players here, but I have never desired an upgrade to the next mark, if my tech for the module is higher.

What if I don't want to go to the max level? I really don't think this is that important of an issue

Well, personally, I want to go to the max level way more often than to current level + 1, that's for sure. Is that your most common goal when mark upgrading?

This is an excellent suggestion, I use copy and paste when I upgrade many modules

Just add a button that allows maximum updates. BUT, purchase the components first.

A few months later:

So far, I have never upgraded any module to currentlevel+1. I have also come to the conclusion that the automatic text in the desired mark field is nothing but an obstacle. You always have to replace it with some desired level, so please: Remove the automatic text.
