Title: Un-scheduled service disruption
Post by: SirEmi on August 24, 2017, 01:52:30 PM
Hi,

Due to a power failure, there was a server restart. This might have caused an error on certain game modules.

Everything is back to normal now.

Please let me know if there are any more issues.

Thank you.

We've had two New Romans (Consul Regnad Kcin (#4460) and Publius (#9830) ) who reported an inablility to log in. Not sure what their current status is.

My account seems to be back to normal, thanks.

logging in as Publius (SPQNR corp) 08/24:16.45 EST

This is after clearing my browser's cache (or can't reach the logon screen)

The login issue should be fixed now.

It was caused by having no active ship and it should automatically activate one ship for you now.

Please post here if you're still having trouble.

Thank you.

Thanks for recovering my account :-)

One ship's missing - may be why I had no active ship.  Details sent to support in a PM.

Doubt it was due to combat - no report and I always park at earth or in a Safe Spot.

Thanks again.

Perhaps you had a corp ship active when you were last active, and had that taken away from you when offline?

Captain Publius (#9830) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR TECH by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   22-Aug-2017 12:33
Captain Tymythy (#10239) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR TECH by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   25-Aug-2017 16:56

So that's not the one.

Captain Publius (#9830) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR stabilize by Marcus Cruoningus (#4102)   21-Aug-2017 12:05

...that one is still with you

Captain Publius (#9830) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR Corp Shop by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   21-Aug-2017 05:02

Captain Publius (#9830) has been revoked command of the corporation ship SPQNR Corp Shop by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   21-Aug-2017 11:21

... unlike the previous ships, which we reassigned to others, this one was revoked first (since we park it in Earth orbit for trading). As we know, the hourly RP assignment continues to be credited to the most recent holder.

That ship was assigned to another captain (2 in fact as part of our trading procedure) less than 12 hrs before your reported problems:

Captain NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482) has been revoked command of the corporation ship SPQNR Corp Shop by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   24-Aug-2017 01:32
Captain NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR Corp Shop by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   24-Aug-2017 01:31
Captain Herod (#8449) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR Corp Shop by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)   24-Aug-2017 01:29
Captain NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482) has been assigned command of the corporation ship SPQNR Corp Shop by NoBrain Mining Inc (#4482)

Not sure if any of this is relevant, but it might be.

Thank you, Raptor,

but no, it was one of my Scouts - the "Ars Amatoria".  I was at Luna, about to sell cargo, when the error came up for the first time.

A Wormhole detector log showing the "Ars Amatoria" arriving at Sol yesterday or the day before would at least prove to Sir Emi that the ship existed.

From there it should be easy for him to determine that:
1) It's no longer on my Ship List
2) There's no related Combat Log or Report

Appreciated!
Publius

Title: Starship "Ars Amatoria" #484314, where are you? (Re: Un-scheduled disruption

Thank you, Raptor!

Sir Emi, would you please determine the fate of my Starship "Ars Amatoria" #484314, that vanished in the crash?

To the best of my knowledge (since I was at the keyboard at the time ;-), it was at Luna ("The Moon") about to sell cargo.

Thank you both,
Publius
