Quebec! The nicest place in the world 1 Je parle un peu français.. Still learning. Your English is good, by the way. How long have you been learning?

Not looking for your address here, just wondering where everybody is at in the world! 1

I'm from the United States, in the New England area

Someone else has to click either "Good" or "Bad" under your Reputation

I do like the idea of having an option not to destroy it. What if, say, you had two options when attacking: one destroys the modules, but has a really low loot value (good during wars where you want to cripple the enemy, but not spread yourself too thin). The other option would be to plunder the module, damaging it but not destroying it, and getting more loot and a chance to capture it?

when an alien civilization is discovered

Now, I have a strong feeling you wont answer this, but its worth a shot. By this do you mean that you are going to add aliens in the future, or that they are already out there in the game and nobody has found them yet?

Also, alien ships would be cool. Would they have other benefits or disadvantages besides just looking different from the SOL ship?

I love the guide, Dev. The only thing I (sorta) disagree with is regarding mining. I wouldn't say it's unprofitable, the one thing to remember before all you newbies pack up your mining modules and head for your nearest Mineral Supermarkets, is that mining is Hit or Miss. You will not find $500k worth of Diamonds with the first planet you search. In fact, even finding $150k worth of a resource on your first try is extraordinarily lucky. My suggestion: if you've got the room, keep a Mining Module on your ship. And when you are doing those Intergalactic Missions that Devonus mentioned, scout out the planets a bit. If you've found a hidden gem? Great! Now you're making more money. But don't dump all your money into this one venture, because it is very likely all you will find is common minerals and dirt.

Hahaha, thats ironic. You made this post about QP, and then win 600 ;)

Congrats mate!

as of right now it takes 30 Hydrogen to make 10 fuel (thats with vip status mind you) in total a loss of 60 solars on that conversion.

It may just be the material you are trying to use. I know that with Selenium, you get 4 fuel cells per 1 unit, and I'm sure there are even better ones out there. I agree that having a way to make our own fuel would be beneficial, but theres also other good ways of doing it now

The SOL Commodity Exchange is bustling, per usual, and everybody is going about their business. Buying, and selling. Departing for newly received missions. Even the inevitable theft and crime that always comes with wealth. Regardless of your business, you are here.
A man detaches himself from a swarming mass of electronics traders and approaches you. He is dressed in a fine black suit, nearly as dark as the space outside the window of the station, and his hair and beard is neatly trimmed.
"Hello, Captain," He says to you, smiling in a friendly manner. "Would you like to see the universe?"

The East Indi Mining Corporation. A small company with big ambitions. Wealth; power; exploration. All of this can be attainable with the right people aboard. The EIMC is a tight knit group of adventurous Captains, looking to make their mark in the universe. Interested? Join today!

Yes! I actually just came to the forums to suggest something like this!  13 Also, could the same be applied to scooping modules?
27  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Travel timer bug on: September 26, 2012, 08:13:41 PM
Sometimes when I set a jump timer - both in system and between systems - if I leave the game and come back, the timer will just reset back to the starting point. So say I set it to 1hr trip to another planet, and then come back 55 minutes later. It should say "Jump in 5 minutes", but instead it says "Jump in 1hr". It's extremely frustrating, especially with long trips.

Woo!  1 this game looks really promising!
29  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Re: voting bug on: September 24, 2012, 07:02:34 PM
I've had this problem, too. But if you try to vote again on that same site a few times, it will say "You have already voted", however eventually it will also count the vote in-game. Still a small hassel, though

I'm Heretic, I've been playing for about a day or two, and liked the game enough to join the forums!  1 Hope to see you all around!
