In the navigation screen, the quadrant is always shown. In Autocad I plotted a center line for my path with a dot for each stop. I always knew exactly where I was and the area covered. Good news that autopilot is fixed

I hope you know that if you use auto jump you wont find anything even if there is something there. You need to do manual jump. I had done some to the north and west of main cluster. I planned it in Autocad to be sure not to miss anything.

Publius, you are quite right. I am past my 5th year of gameplay. Not much chalenge anymore. As the time pass the motivation to play diminish till you do not do much.
Odlid, you have to balance research with module production and buying new ships. research is quite expensive. I think it is better to hace a lot of ships with lower level modules to have a better income from COM missions. Also build only essential modules, nothing else (engines, shields, marines and cargo)

Building a model 100 and upgrading it to 200 or building a model 200 right away? 1- You have to have cargo bay capacity to build the 200. 2- you have to have the ressources to build a 200. At higher MK levels, you need very large cargo bay specially for MAU. I have build my modules by upgrade and I would not have been able to build those right away. Now I could build my modules in one shut. My Shields are MK 6000 and my MAU are MK 5000...
It is true that research is very important, in our corp I have set up as supply ship with 2000000 RP per hour that we pass from member to member.

The choice is yours, I said what I said to make you think. This is also true for shields.... Personally. I have chosen the opposite route and look where I am. (by the way, it is Raplael that make me discover this. Competition is beneficial lol) The only important thing is to have fun with this game and it is my wish for all of you.

If you look at adv CAB and CAB time to build and cost, a CAB cost half the price but take twice longer to build. Are you patient or not. From my experience, if you want to be among the top in the game, you need to spend not a solar more than absolutely needed.
