I have been contemplating to have a one member corp as a way to continue to grow in the future. The advantage is so great.... My next ship license will cost around 42 millions.

But I like the way Jam-Jul Lison manage our corp, I do not need to take care of that part of the job, I focus on growing. This is what keep me from doing it to date.

This is my thinking as a geologist and a teacher of mining technologies:

At one point in our future it will be more economical to mine in outher space (asteroid, moons...) than to mine on earth. There is much much more ressources out there than on earth. For this reason, it is sure that we will explore space. We only need better tools & technologies to get to space and come back to earth. The road to space is only much longer than I hoped 40 years ago.

On an other subject: human species survival. If we learn to terraform and colonize mars, our specie will reside on 2 planets, if one is destyroyed by a catastropy humanity will still survive. If we learn terraforming, we will be able to colonize other planets also.

For me, space conquest is the next big humanity chalenge, like was the americas conquest 500 years ago. It may take that long for the conquest our solar system and maybe as long to go to the first stars.

Just ideas for fun, nobody knows the future (Where are the aliens lol)

I play Fatecraft: the therian saga (a very nice free online RPG game developped in Québec Canada. The game is in french.)

many rpg, space and not space strategy...

I upgraded my Ship Fasolt to a factory ship MK X. In SITREP it is still reporting it at 12 manufacturing bays. I have started new module and it report 18/12 modules. The factory ship work ok but the reporting is wrong.

The Ship optimizations I have look for as more expensive than my ships with all the high tech components in it. For me, it seem to be better to build more ships than to pay for Ship optimizations.

The new COM missions are OK, they are easier (better) than the previous ones. You need weapons that hits all the time. I have 8 high tech level marines on all my ships.

Should not the armor count also as double for calculating the odds of winning the battle since it is twice as hard to crack now? So the odds for shields and the odds for armor keep the same meaning!

Thx SirEmi, my error. I forgot the 2 points for the armor. It also mean that ships with armor are twice as difficult to kill compare to shields. so even if I have odds of 19 to 3 in my favor, if the pirate has armor I may be in trouble. lol.

And yes I am building new weapons to improve my ships, but they are very long to build.
