when is it cheaper to manufacture something? modules on Earth are cheaper than everything i can manufacture

When you have a decent mining source for the material needed for manufacturing a
particular module.  Or at least 1 of the resources.  Anything that off-sets the cost of
buying them all from SOL will make it cheaper.

As to overall costs, get 2 of the Mk 10s.  Install them look at your speed and simulate
a jump.  Do the same w/1 Mk 20.  Compare the total cost/saving and room need then,
you can make a valid decision. -- Each decision naturally, will be based upon the players
need for a particular speed vs space.

Precisely as last mentioned.  You can have a choice.  It doesn't matter if there
are some people are not interested in it, the concept is that this would consti-
tute an improvement to the game.

I don't know.  Someone told me that the higher the drive, the higher the fuel cost.
So, if space is not an issue, you may want to see what 4 Mk X's will do on cost.

The benefits do stack and should reduce your fuel costs a good %.

I used the old saying "In order to make money, you need money" and
invested in Science 1st, followed by Mining and Cargo Bays

The Science assisted me in researching the others.

Currently, if you have multiple minerals to sell, you can just click on each, total the #
below, and sell.

But, if you have multiple and you only want to sell some of each, you have to do so individually.

What would be nice is to re-vamp that section to resemble the "Buy" Section.  This way, the
player could enter the amount he wants to sell at one time rather than the repetitive method
he would do currently.

Trying to find out just what is working in Corporations, but can't seem to find it.
(and no, I am not going to try every option, that's dumb 1 )

As too the "why?", it seems useless to have a corporation if it is impossible to trade
produce for and assist other members.  Now some of this may already be in place,
or in the process of being in place, but, without a section (FAQ?) explaining what
is available, it is hard to do so.  Having to loot a fellow member just to trade is not
very effective nor fun.  12

So, in summary:

What works in Corporation?
Can you explain what each right actually give a member?
What is planned in the Near / Future upgrades for the game on this subject.

I believe that it would be good to have a confirmation button when you
purchase items.

Why?  If you get forgetful and/or funny fingers and type in 800 Diamonds instead of
90, for example.  As long as you have the cash and space, it will automatically accept
your request.  However, if you added the confirmation, it would help players prevent
errors -- costly ones at that.   Not sure of scripting language being used (java/php),
but since you are recording the item and amount, adding a calculated field showing
the total with a statement:  You are purchasing ____ Diamonds for a total of _____
would be beneficial.

The games def needs a report message button.  I tried reporting a guy for some bad language once. Emi just told me to just ignore the guy.  lol. So I get where you are coming from on the language thing.

I do still think the game is fun though. It just needs some improvements.  I am hoping with the coming new year things might approve.  Considering the game is still in it's early stages I want to give the game more of a chance.  Good luck to you though Jaq.

Just my thoughts.... (nothing personal at anyone).
If the rule exists and is being ignored, remove the rule.
Having a rule that does nothing serves no purpose.  If
we respect the rules in place, and.... of more importance,
enforce them, there is a lower chance of them being broke.

Again, just my thoughts.

Any thoughts for adding an option to make the Auction Private?

Such as invited people, particular corp(s)?

This makes it easier for a Corporation to make funds and still profit
the members. (in leu of not having the ability to conduct actual
trade amongst your items w/others).
