General Talk / General Discussion / Looting pirate mods with limitted cargo space
|

Question,
If you do a pirates nest mission which yields more cargo than what your hold can handle, and that particular station happens to have an illegal module on it, do you risk the chance of not getting the module because you filled up on other junk, or does the module have a higher priority to go into your cargo bay first, followed by minerals, gases, medical supplies, and personnel?

One other quick question. If a hanger can hold a ship complete with modules, will it be possible to pull a station equipped with modules in it as well? Tractor beams and such....

That will make for some very interesting PvP. You scan a ship, "see" that it has hangers, but have no idea what hell might be unleashed after you initiate the attack. Next thing you know, you're fighting a swarm

On other news, there is rumor of a new module called a "Hangar bay" in development. It is said the hangar bay modules will be used to hold ships within the belly of mother ships. Out of curiosity, will the ships power just be the power of the mother ship? Or will it be a combination of the Mother Ship and the ship(s) that is in it's hanger?

Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Transfer Bug

When I select my ship Runner H and check it's cargo capacity, game says I have 52920
When I select another ship (Intraspect) and transfer goods to Runner H, game states that the cargo capacity of Runner H is 50400.
I can't transfer back all the goods that I temporarily sent over to Intraspect from Runner H.

Info Terminal / Updates / Re: Big update: Manage modules on planets / stations, new Com mission

These missions just drop too much darn loot. Every fight I do, I can't even loot all the goods because I don't have enough cargo space. It would take me completely redesigning all of my ships (some ships are just too small right now to even make enough cargo available). It's not a bad concept, but I think the ratio between how much you scoop up and how much you get paid needs to be adjusted, otherwise, I'd be running all the way back home after each mission just to sell.

Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Mark Upgrade

Any chance of getting the module list filtered when you want to mark a module for upgrade so that only upgradeable modules pop up on the list? I don't know how many of you have played with a fully functioning large capacity manufacturing ship, but it can get troublesome going through the list trying to find which modules can and can not be upgraded, as well as trying to remember what you different tech levels are for each module so that you remember if it can or can not be upgraded.

General Talk / General Discussion / What I find entertaining about battle...

I did a COM mission a bit ago in which I failed to make the ship jump, so I have to go for round 2. I suddenly got an image in my head of the two ships coming toe to toe with guns blazing, moving in for the deployment of troops, both ships unloading their marines onto each other's ships, doing their damage, then everyone running back to their own ships and flying away from one another, just to turn around and do it all over again.
I think about my war time and imagine fighting our way up to a building in our vehicles, dismounting, entering the building, clearing the first floor, running back to the vehicles, and driving away. Then the commander saying "Ok, we're going to do that again, but this time I want you all to clear the second floor!"
LOL
