if you make the acquasition of qp much more expensive then it's going to slow the newbs down more so than before. 1m per qp is enough. it gives people something to work towards. whilst i'm not making a buckit load of money per day, i do think that 1m solars per qp is enough.

as for ap, well i don't mind that either. again it's something that can help the newbs and you can choose how you use that ap. 1 qp per day with just generating ap really isn't all that much in the grand scheme of things. especially if you want to have officers and vip status. on it's own you'd never be able to save up enough ap to acomplish all that.

well maybe the auction thing needs to be done first for the simple reason if there's no way of getting qp apart from spending rl money then that's really going to get on people's nerves. if people are going to start leaving because of this when their officers go then the game is dead.

unless i'm seriously missing something, i can't seem to find the link to buy qp with solars. i can see where you buy AP but can't see how you can buy qp with solars.

yup i've noticed this too lately. i've actually been in the situation whereby i've made the jump to 1 sos mission only to find someone else has already gotten it. more certainly needs to be done with empty sectors.

can't something be coded along the lines of activity * demand for x? where x is either demand for sos coms or even new star systems and planets? it's great having new players to the game for sure but we need space as well to cater for these players 1.

i've been messing about with the starmap a bit. i can't get it to work properly with my screen reader. some of the links in there don't seem to be labeled properly or at least in a way that i can understand. for example, when i try to read one of the results in the starmap this is what i see. index.php?action=star_maps&a2=cset_course&wpid=15227

obviously that's some form of address relating to the game code. there's some form of graphic there. but what it represents my screen reader cannot seem to read.

could this please be rectified?

yes a player driven economy would be good indeed. with mined resources you can have transport drones to send resources to whatever wearhouses you wish then.

certainly see no problem with that at all. or what about player contracts that can be fulfilled? we have wearhouses on earth which we pay to expand or manufacture extra storage bays for them. all components required by player contracts gets stored in wearhouse and when we manufacture stuff we put an order in with the wearhouse that can be delivered to the ship. this could be done either with our own shuttles that we have in hanger bays or sol corp ships for a fee ship the stuff up to us. something like 1 solar per unit.
