1  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Re: Bug in the nav comp? on: January 12, 2016, 03:16:33 PM
This puzzled me as well, for awhile. Try this: after you attempt to add the system, and nothing appears to happen (i.e. the list doesn't update) ... type in a restriction such as 20 LY, and click 'show'. I believe the system *is* added, you just have to refresh the display.

That seemed to be it. The system IS added, but it cannot be used in the nav comp by any ship before the refresh (which isn't always needed).

Still a bug, in my book, but not the one I thought.
2  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Bug in the nav comp? on: January 10, 2016, 05:14:11 AM
On several occasions, I have noticed that I cannot add systems to my nav comp. Everything looks fine, and the nav comp screen even says "Navigation database successfully updated!", but in reality, nothing happens.

The latest example of this happened just a minute ago, when I tried to add the red dwarf system ONM 1242 to the nav comp.

So far, I can see no pattern for whether or not a system can be added.
3  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Another star cycle bug? on: December 27, 2015, 06:53:13 PM
So here I was, letting a timer ship stay in a collapsing star system while feasting on christmas food or whatever... Now this ship was not equipped with any means of mobility under its own power, I thought I could scoot on over there with a hangar equipped ship to pick the poor sods up.

Mea culpa, as it turns out. Here I am, located right where the ship I need to rescue is, I see it in my view ports (and in the orbit/system view), but I still cannot pick it up in my hangar. Nor can I transfer any cargo between the ships ("You do not have other owned ships at your current location!").

So. I cannot pick a ship stranded in the former system of a collapsed star, and I cannot transfer cargo to or from it.

Bug?

A few months later:

So far, I have never upgraded any module to currentlevel+1. I have also come to the conclusion that the automatic text in the desired mark field is nothing but an obstacle. You always have to replace it with some desired level, so please: Remove the automatic text.

According to the Sith beliefs, avoidance of conflict - like the pacifist teachings of the Jedi - results in stagnation and decline. We believe that conflict is the only true test of one's ability, and thus its importance is greatly emphasised. It is our belief that conflict challenges both individuals and civilizations, and so forced them to grow and evolve.

Or to make them relate more to you, think about it. Why are Caucasians so much more taller and stronger than those from the third-world places? Because back in their history, they had many wars, and the weak ones were flushed out, leaving only the strong ones to pass their genes on to the next generations. The Africans were forced to work as slaves, and the weak ones died out, leaving only the strongest ones to pass their genes on to the next generations. Which is why many black people are muscular (Usain Bolt, for example) and strong. It's their genes.

And take a look at ... maybe Malaysia? They're apparently famous for being a slightly lazy bunch of people  laugh Why? Because they never really fought many wars. Their natives coexisted harmoniously for thousands of years, and of course with the lack of war, the weak ones continue to flourish.

Sorry if this insulted anyone. Had to role-play this Sith Lord a bit.  laugh

What an utter load of horse menure.

or after talking to any passenger

Indeed. It's quite annoying.
7  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: Recon module on: May 28, 2015, 06:34:43 AM
Seconded.

Every improvement that can reduce the number of clicks is a good one.
8  Caffe / Whatever / Re: Where are you from? on: May 21, 2015, 05:21:10 AM
Sweden, "county" of Skåne (southernmost part of the country).
9  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Re: **Find a bug!** on: May 21, 2015, 02:54:36 AM
I get it too, I *think* it started after one of the updates.

It's not on the user end, it's something funny being sent from the server.

* Ship scan computer will now remember scanning data during the session

SirEmi, why on earth would you want to limit this to be remembered for just the session? You spend hours and hours (or APs) gathering the data, and then it's gone because your browser session dies?

Please, let our imaginary ship computers remember scanned ship data indefinately.
11  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Cargo transfer with just one other possible ship present on: May 19, 2015, 04:49:14 PM
If there's only one other ship present when you click "Transfer to another ship", how about automagically selecting that other ship as the recipient of the cargo to transfer?

The fewer clicks you have to do, the happier you get 1

What if I don't want to go to the max level? I really don't think this is that important of an issue

Well, personally, I want to go to the max level way more often than to current level + 1, that's for sure. Is that your most common goal when mark upgrading?

13  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: Reduce click fest on science screen on: May 18, 2015, 03:20:21 PM
This used to be a lot worse.  It is much better then it was.

That may be the case, but I never saw that, because I'm new enough. I think it sucks as it is, hence the suggestion.
14  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Talking to survivors in Earth orbit on: May 18, 2015, 03:38:14 AM
Could you please NOT go to the system view after wishing the survivors good luck? Cargo bay seems like the obvious choice.
15  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Reduce click fest on science screen on: May 18, 2015, 03:36:08 AM
Please implement some means to add several levels of tech at a time. The current two clicks per level is just stupid and annoying.
