PMI attacks IMG science experiment

A sad day has come for the universe. PMI in its quest for supposed "dominance" has attacked an IMG outpost solely dedicated to Super Nova research.

This outpost was previously identified to PMI as a pure science experiment that they could take part in if they so choose. It was an undefended outpost, solely composed of volunteer miners. The families of the missing miners have been notified in person of the attack and compensated for a life time of service since they didn't survive the the initial attack, overwhelming military force was used against a populace of civilians in the typical terroristic fashion of PMI.

The simple purpose of the outpost was a public fuel station that was in the process of mining all resources of the single planet in the system. The planet had already been depleted of over 75% of resources already. The goal was to observe the effect of a Super Nova on ships & stations in orbit.

After much discussion with IMG members it has been decided the mining will continue in the pursuit of science. The outpost will be reestablished soon, this time around it will be well defended since even the pirates have no respect for science.

IMG will continue to mine...acts of terror will not be tolerated.... A coalition of the willing will be formed to hunt down the terrorists and relegate them to a hole in the ground we can nuke at our leisure.

The PMI attempts at subjugation will no longer be tolerated in this universe. Attacking to decimate what would be a resource for a pirate is not a Pirating behavior. It is the behavior of a terrorist.

As such I have reclassified PMI as a terrorist organization.

Yeah nice hit JamJul of PMI. 
I blinked and missed it i am afraid. Give us a heads up next time so we can remove civilian ships out to a safe zone and bring our fighting ships online.
It was good actually that one of my escort ships was in power down mode while it conducted scientific experiments, because those modules remained undamaged during the sneak attack and was able to bring all systems back online without any major setbacks. The setback to scientific research though was unfortunate as was the loss of civilian life.

Previously we had informed PMI of this location via a formal announcement to them in the hopes of perhaps building some sort of rules of engagement and fighting honour, even some limited co-operation between corporations. We got lazy. We thought there may have been some honour in their leader(s). We were wrong and got complacent. That mistake will not happen again. Clearly PMI or its rogue elements cannot be trusted to behave in a way befitting a warrior with honour. All corporations should look at this latest incident and consider their own agreements very carefully with this organisation. I have already received threats through my personal mail by JamJul that they will settle for nothing else than total annihilation of our corporation property and establishments.

That to me, to all that care to listen and keep track of current events, is nothing less than murder and TERORISM. A corp who is calling them selves Pirates and Mining Inc shows its hand and has nothing to do with pirating OR mining. A corp with those intentions to totally destroy all of a corps holdings needs to be taught a lesson in humility. This is why there is a war between IMG & PMI. Because we refuse to be treated as lowly "newbies" (a term i am quoting as a declaration JamJul described me as in his PM) and willing to stand up for ourselves. This rankles in the throats of this band of murderers, and they call it "disrespectful" to stand up against bully tactics and out and out killers.

This sort of tactics by PMI individuals is also why this galaxy has lost some very good pilots over its life since the Big Bang.  They are simply bullied out of the sector for good. We are not the first to be targeted by these criminals and unless we all stand up against this sort of tactics, we wont be the last. We are not going anywhere and cant be bullied out of this galaxy we now call  home. The lesson we want to teach will eventually be learnt by the opposition.
