Sir Emi i have been trying to downgrade some of my vessels to more specialise them in roles. However, every time i try to do so it tells me
Quote
Need to sell some modules in the ship maintenance before you can downgrade to this hull size!

I have removed almost all my mods on one corp vessel thinking its to do with that, and condensed the sprawl of mods through the hull incase it cant condense, to no joy! 10 i have also selected preview first incase it needs to consolidate existing modules to the smaller hull size, which it does ok and shows me the layout of the new ship. Still it doesnt allow me to downsize
I currently have a titan vessel with only 30 mods onboard trying to download 1 grade to a leviathan and it wont let me. What is the solution? am i missing something?

Move the modules on the ship into an area that shows up on the preview screen. Mostly the back half of the ship. It takes some time but once you do this it will let you downgrade them. I ran into this issue not to long ago myself.

Note then you can easily move modules on the ship by going to Modules->Cargo Bay modules (http://www.astro-galaxy.com/index.php?action=cargo_mods)

Then click an empty slot, then click a module and it moves that module to the empty slot.
