I noticed that the commodity exchange stations in other systems usually buy food and electronics. Does anyone know if you can sell to those stations and make a profit off of otherwise useless products?
I would recommend it for new captains as a supplement to offset fuel costs when transporting interstellar passengers picked up from the bulletin board. And as soon as that endeavor (taxi service) stops being profitable, so does the minor profit for reselling crap. I have been stockpiling food and electronics for the time they will be useful.
