the locators (Worm-hole and Black-hole) I received cannot be reversed engineered.  Is this because they are not 'exotic' modules?  If they are not, why have they not been added to the science tree?

Or, are they like the ships, only available via the 'pledge' store?

SirEmi has said in the past that the stuff we pledge for is pledge store stuff only so we won't be able to research it. Which is kinda dumb.

other 'pledge stuff' can be reverse engineered.  this is a module, not a ship.  this seems to be the only module that cannot be re-eng'ed.

It can......I forgot. lol.  I haven't been awake very long. My bad.  Though i personally hate reverse engineering on here.  I wish we could just throw it all into a science tree. Especially after we have reverse engineered something.

I think that is a very good idea.

once we have REV-ENGed a module, it should start on the science tree as an original 'basic' module on the 'tree'

It doesn't even have to be at it's core base as good as the original either.  Though over time with more research and upgrades it likely would become better. But it makes more sense. That's how we got a lot of today's technology. Though I doubt everyone believes we reversed engineered stuff that was found at Roswell. lol

no, I wasn't able to spend the QP at one time for the level I wanted.  So I did it in installments, anticipating the rev-eng. 12
