There has been a burst of Wormhole signatures in the Sol quadrant due to increase in intergalactic traffic. Captains are advised to exercise caution when exploring these new signatures.

The SOL Corporation is working on a solution that will dissipate the recent twist of space throughout the quadrant.

P.S.: New signatures appear to be unstable and may last from 3-7 days. Captains are advised caution so the ships don't get trapped in unexplored areas.

Do experts think there will be any way of knowing if a wormhole is about to close, or should explorers just err on the side of caution? Opps

Yeah, the SOL Corporation is actively studying these events and will issue an update to all Nav computers, that will warn captains of the stability of the event.

While in the vicinity of the event, the nav computer would be able to estimate the if the event is "stable", "unstable" or "critical". Each state will be related to a time left to the life of the event.
