Question: Is a mk C Alien Death-Ray a cool and reasonable goal to have??
Hell yeah man!
What? That's crazy; definitely not.
I guess?
What's an 'Alien Death-Ray?'

Self explanatory.

I want to have a legacy in this game. I want to be the first person to get a mk C death-ray. I don't think anyone else is working on a mega death-ray besides JamJul, but we all know what he's been like lately (reclusive that is) and I don't think he is really working on it that much anymore.

So would it be cool? I know it is a total waste of resources, but it would be UNIQUE and KICK ASS. Please tell me if I'm crazy

Uh.. well it's kind of a waste of time. Then again when you get most of your income from COM missions and I assume yours are mostly of the 100+ hour variety, I imagine you have a great deal of time to waste. Personally I would probably find other things to do if I were in your position but that is me.

Curious as to why you are worried about leaving behind a legacy, usually that is something that people don't think about until they start thinking about quitting...

If I may place a suggestion: reach a tech MK MMMMMMMMMM and place the module in orbit somewhere so everyone could verify it. But take care not to bust the game. lol

Ok then... if that is the case then I think it's a complete waste of time, even a mk 100 death ray isn't that great especially if it misses. Now if SirEmi changes them in some way to make them better then that would change, I guess you could get a head start on others collecting death rays if you believe that there will be a significant buff to them in the future. Then you would have some bragging rights, you could be all like "mwuahahahahaha! And you guys thought I was crazy, who is crazy now huh? =p"

Though I doubt that will happen anytime in the... nearish future. If he buffed them before this summer I would be surprised.

the death rays should be instrumental when (or if) we will be able to take 'prizes'...

My progress has been slow. Mostly because I don't log on as much anymore and because searching for them is very time consuming.  Plus it gets really boring.

As of today, Rostin HAS his legacy. Literally, as the ship defending our Caelus HQ has been renamed "Rostin's Legacy".
