fly to it and jump in...

All the detector does is let you know where they are, not where they go nor how long they will be stable.



oops, I mixed detector with locator.  All I have been able to do with the detector is see what is entering (or leaving) the area holding the device.

Yeah the detector at best makes an early warning device and not exactly a good one.  It needs a complete overhaul.
