Would it be possible to get an AP point for logging in? One per 24 hours. This would still benefit active players who cannot spend a lot of time online.

Do you mean one AP per hour along with another AP for each time you log in?

Do the APs not generate when you are offline?  21

Glad you see the light side of it 1

I'm fairly disappointed with today's update, feels like 9 months of building a fleet, and 6 of building a corp, is stolen from me, so a pre-emptive apology if I p*ss people off in the process.

Heck, it'd have been better to actually fix PvP (as in the action, not your corp) in the game rather than to upset the game's balance the way that we've seen today!

I think they generate when you're offline, too...

or an AP (or 2) with every vote (along with the $1000 solari or 1QP that is generated now) Or change the odds for awarding QP for voting (6 votes per day = 5000 solari and 1 QP / daily, if all 6 votes are voted).

A new resource has been added called Action Points (AP). It is generated by the navigation computer every 60 minutes.

Is that 1 AP every 60 minutes or is it 1 AP per 60 minutes per ship?

Therefore, it will take me 1 hour to save enough AP to speed something up by 1 hour. Does anyone else see the illogic in this?

AP can be bought. 20 of them for 1 million solars. I can see AP being very powerful in this game.

If you don't log for 24 hours, when you come back the AP will show (+24)  1

You get an AP every 60 minutes, but you don't need to be online  1

It's a bit hard to understand at first, but AP is meant to speed up development for new players and players that are kind of inactive during the week and more active during weekends.

With AP, it's possible that one can play at regular intervals every few days and still keep the same level of enjoyment in AG, and here's how:

One would login every 4 days and play for 30 minutes. In witch case, he would get 4*24 = 96 AP. Then we would proceed to explore some stars using AP to speed up the travel, then come back again in a few days or so. Not everyone has the same time to spend, so this enables casual play in addition to normal play.

Well this kinda ruins the requirement for you to be online 24/7.

P.S Not a requirement, but I suppose you understand. The first thing I do when I wake up is to jump my ships, then when I'm going to sleep I do one final jump timer. Now suddenly there's not much point in doing these. :p Of course I do check in the morning to see if anyone has combat timers on me.
