Astro Galaxy - a realistic space exploration game
In Astro Galaxy, you start from Earth orbit and colonize the Sol system, then you can explore / colonize new stars.
All this happens while other players do the same, so inevitable conflicts happen leading to awesome space and planetary battles.
Key features:
* Landing on planets. Establish mining colonies / military outposts / science outposts.
* Deploy space stations. Mining outpost support or fortified military / science facilities.
* Explore wormhole / black holes and other special events. Beware of space monsters.
* Explore ancient alien civilization remains. Encounter aliens and fight them.
* Real time space travel. The navigation computer takes real time to calculate a trajectory from point A to point B.
* Modular ships and stations design, ships have a hull type and you install modules in slots. This way, depending on what is installed on each slot, the ship can be a civilian or military or in between type.
* The ship has weapons / shields / manpower, you really have to hire personnel on your ships before setting off to explore. Losing personnel in battles makes the modules less efficient
* You can hail a ship and talk to another captain in real time, just like in Star Trek movies (text, no audio)
* The Galaxy / Universe is pretty much infinite, you can travel from Sol and never reach the edge. Do be careful once you get into uncharted space
* The combat implements a timer for positioning units. The more power is involved in combat, the more time it would take to initialize the attack. In this time, either one of the parties involved can retreat or bring in more reinforcements. so if a powerful ship attacks a small ship, the small ship has ample time to run away. The combat for ships / stations / planetary is merged into a global system.

Different star systems:

Huge wormhole to explore and jump hundreds of Light Years away.
Dynamic wormholes open and close withing star clusters and between them.

The Star map can allow you to plot Long Range courses between huge star clusters thousands of Light Years away. An autopilot extension is available...
Space monsters lurk between the star clusters. Each star cluster has around 700 - 1500 stars in it.

And that's not all. Have you seen how customizable the ships are with modular designs? You can even have Mother-ships that carry other ships in their hangar.
