Shorten timer by disabling modules, forgetting that a minimum of two MAU are needed and only leaving one enabled.

... well, it wasn't for naught. By reading this, I just learned that I could shorten the timer by disabling modules!  Thanks!

Hello Cobalt! Happy to meet you - I have only been playing a short while. I remembered that, while I was still learning what I was doing in SOL, I hit one of your mines in AlphaCent, a week or so ago. I ask your forgiveness and understanding - I will not do that again :-)

Heh. So, I'm a small fry who just started this past week. My first MK I station and first two MK I MIFs, placed six days ago, in an otherwise *abandoned* asteroid field, got unceremoniously wiped away today by Scorpirus of PVP. Considering the wide-open field, that kinda sucks :-/ In fairness, as I've explored over my first week, I've made a few hits as well on (from what I could tell) inactive independent SLB's and MIFs, to see how things work.

Question: I'm still SOL at the moment. I'm gathering from some other posts, that's kinda like a flashing 'N00b' sign ... true or false? Thanks for feedback.

There are only 7 SOL stations outside SOL in 7 closest star systems. You can trade commodities there. Resources can be sold only in Earth's orbit. Buying electronics in Earth and selling these to outter SOL stations is a good way to start

Hi all; I'm new to the game over the past week. I'll be asking a few Noob questions :-) I hope this is the right thread. Here's the first:

In most systems surrounding Sol, there is one Sol Com station, selling limited amounts of fuel. I haven't found any stations *buying* commodities (other than a couple for electronics, etc.).

So if I mine Gold 25LY away ... do I always have to return to *Earth* to sell it, or are the stations out there I haven't seen yet? Thanks in advance -
