I was exploring a system far outside of the known systems, and when I went to land on one of the system's asteroid belts, I got the following message:

"Not possible to land on this object!"

Is this a bug, or is it simply an asteroid belt that I cannot land on? Thanks! 1

Nearest as I can tell this is happening in a lot of the star systems that are out along the outer edges. You know prior to going into the void.

Some planets, (a few gas giants and some asteroid belts) where missing the ground / surface area. It has been fixed now and it is possible to deploy modules on them now.
