Hi and welcome to PMI News. Friday evening Captain Matamaure, PMI's Pirating/Navy Leader located a station and some mines belonging to Razgr1z in quadrant 2,3. After informing the rest of the corporation, he and Captain Jam-Jul Lison organized an assault against Razgr1z. We have for you live footage of the battles. As you can see here the space station and planetary forces were no match for the Nike. But this was only the beginning. While this was going on another battle was being fought elsewhere by Captain Jam-Jul Lison.

As can be seen in the footage, Razgr1z's planetary forces were no match for Captain Jam-Jul Lison's raiding ship The Cerberus.  We also have a statement straight from Captain Jam-Jul Lison on this Incident.  He said and I quote, "This is just the beginning. IMG can only hide for so long. Sooner or later we will locate more of their mines and stations. When we do, they too will be destroyed."  Also seen in the footage is evidence of survivors. As usual the civilians found have reported horrible working conditions. Some even have made claims they were working as slaves. Because of the intense amount of psychiatric help they now require, we have sent them back to Earth for proper treatment. However 65 civilinas have refused to cooperate. They are believed to be IMG loyalist and as a result they are currently being held as POWs. They will be sent back to Earth to be to be tried for their crimes.

In other news there has still been no word from Co-Leader Captain Wolfdoc since going MIA.  In his absense Captain Jam-Jul Lison has taken over the reigns to become the full leader until the time as Captain Wolfdoc returns. PMI members are reported to be worried about him though.  We also have recieved word of other PMI Space battle took battle last night. After questioning PMI about this Captain Jam-JUl Lison admitted to some attacks against Mirage. As some of you may be aware, Mirage has also gone by the names of Jaqvaar and Lady Emi. He has been reported to be on Captain Jam-Jul Lison's KOS list since Captain Jam-Jul Lison's 3rd day in the game.  Captain Jam-Jul Lison a small player at the time caught the more powerful and experienced Mirage catnapping in orbit of a moon in Sol and attacked his ship causing him to jump to the safe zone. The next day Captain Jam-Jul Lison was greeted with a rude PM.  Captain Jam-Jul Lison replied back but kept his tone civil. In return he got another rude message back.  Over time Mirage has been rude to other players in a similar manner. It was also reported in recent months that this miner who is said to hate pirates attempted to attack a member of IMG. Something which goes to show that Mirage is no more then a hypocrite.  So last night after receiving the locations of some of Mirage's mines and science labs, Captain Jam-JUl Lison proceeded to destroy and capture them. Captain Jam-Jul Lison was generous enough to share for us footage from these battles.

So far there have been no messages from Mirage received by Captain Jam-Jul Lison but he does expect to see some rude ones soon. As you can see by the footage Mirage's forces stood no chance. For you newer players out there that feel like you can never catch up to the bigger players, just take a close look at this. Mirage is a player who used to be a lot stronger then Captain Jam-Jul Lison. But he worked hard and grew to become as powerful as he is now.  While his ships might not be on the same level as the most powerful players, he is proof that a person can become stronger and even pass up more experienced Captains. So so people know I am keeping this topic open. So you can discuss it.  Just keep things civil.  Don't ask things in character or anything like that. These news reports are written up as a fun way for us to let others in the game know what is going on with our Corp. After all a lot of people get bored with the game and this helps to keep the boredom away. Even if just for a little while.   They are not to be picked over or anything like that.

I do have 1 or 2 questions for you with regards to your earlier news brief. Also perhaps a statement to your release.

I dont understand that you can release a news report "in character" but then ask us not to reply "in character". Would you prefer we comment to your releases "Out of Character"?

My other question is, " It is all well and good to post news about how strong and powerful you are against unarmed mining outposts, but can you really perform when you are faced with an opponent that can fight and fire back"?

Now to my statements in response to the news release:

IMG can only hide for so long. Sooner or later we will locate more of their mines and stations. When we do, they too will be destroyed."

As commander of IMG I can formally declare that we are not hiding. We welcome your attempts to find us. Eventually you will find us to your detriment. Naturally we are not going to list our key positions and establishments to the general public, that would be madness. We are not hiding and skulking in the shadows in fear of PMI, that is for certain. I just needed to let your viewers know this.

As usual the civilians found have reported horrible working conditions. Some even have made claims they were working as slaves. Because of the intense amount of psychiatric help they now require, we have sent them back to Earth for proper treatment. However 65 civilians have refused to cooperate. They are believed to be IMG loyalist and as a result they are currently being held as POWs. They will be sent back to Earth to be to be tried for their crimes.

As to this preposterous claim, all of our workers, military and officers, report that things couldn't be more harmonious than they are now, and the mining process builds daily with excellent financial figures rolling in. As our Corporation name suggests, we are independent and miners. All of our workers have fair pay and shares within our corporation. I can only suggest that if any of our captured workers state anything other than that, it is done out of fear or under duress in an attempt at political manipulation of the media.

I think we as the opposite view should be invited to comment on news briefs. What a good reporter should always do, is go to the source and find both sides of the argument. Let the people decide what is fact and what is fiction.
