You can now get involved in the development of Astro Galaxy by investing your QP into new projects!

- You can invest QP into projects like voting points and get a great interest, 1 QP for every 50 QP invested, every 30 days.
    + You can choose an item reward pledge. You will be able to transfer the reward to a ship cargo bay of your choice (that you own, no corp ships) when the project is completed.
    + You can have a higher mark item delivered, if you choose higher quantity. You will have the option to either get the selected quantity in MK I modules, or get one item at MK = to quantity selected
        Example: 3x Solar Hydrogen Infuser, can be delivered as 3x Solar Hydrogen Infuser MK I or 1x Solar Hydrogen Infuser MK III

    + You can also have multiple pledges on the same item, if you wish different MK item levels. For example you could pledge with quantity 5 and quantity 3, and select a module of MK V and another of MK III to be delivered.

- Other projects with the relevant rewards will be added in the next days.

- You can post news and comments for each project and work with the developers.

- Each project has a minimum QP pledge amount before it can be activated. Once the minimum QP has been reached, the project gets a rating based on QP pledged divided by the time needed to achieve the project.
    + The next started project will be the one with the highest Pledge Rating.
    + There can only be one active project at one time. Once the active project is completed, the next one on the list ordered by pledge rating automatically starts.
    + So you can determine witch project is next to be started by using your QP as voting points and getting the project a higher pledge rating.


- There are two new payment methods: Bitcoin and Perfect Money.
    + The new payment alternatives have a minimum payment of $0.1 (10 cents)

- Added icons to many actions in the ship modules to occupy less space and have room for new modules coming out.

- Default User Interface was upgraded, menu looks the same but has more functionality / links are more visible.
    + please force refresh the browser once to make sure all files are updated

- A new UI color theme is available in Account, called "Office / light". It features lighter colors. You can switch between "Space / dark" and "Office / light" at any time.

- Ships and stations have a cargo log to track shipments and cargo transfers better.

- Navigation screen has been made transparent, so we can add more events in the future, black holes, wormholes, exploration etc.

Thx for the update.

Where do I find the explanations for the news modules we can win with our pledges? found it: the question mark on the line

Is it possible to know the list of donators for each project, sorted by biggest donator, it would stimulate us maybe to donate more.

Revamping our combat system should be our top priority.

The office/light layout sucks. I am sticking with the original.  Also I would like to encourage everyone to try to invest the most in novas first.  That is an update we really need here in the game.  It is long overdue.

There's no need for a list, it's better to keep it anonymous unless one specifically wants to be known.
If you want to be a known supporter of a project, you are welcome to post your support in the project news and comments.

Everyone can invest some QP and get an interest on it, you can use QP like voting points. You get interest on it even if the project is not started yet, it will accumulate interest from the moment you pledge.
So the interest will create motivation and we'll always have some project to do based on community desire.

Once the project reaches the minimum QP, it will show a pledge rating score and based on this score it will move up / down in the priority list.

After the project is completed and 7 days pass, the special modules attached to a project will double in price and will either be placed in a list of things to get with QP or remain in the completed project reward items list.
So the reward items are an incentive for people to support a project, but the item will still be available to purchase with QP after the project completion, just at a higher cost.

Of course this will not affect pledges that where already placed, so you can always have it delivered after the project is complete or long after as long as the pledge was placed during development.

To add new projects, you'll have to suggest it in the Suggestions section of the forum. After the project is discussed in detail and has some community support, it will be added to the list in the game by a developer. You can suggest projects as well as reward items like modules, optimizations, unique ships, stations etc etc.
