How 'special'?  Mine are running 15 to 20 %.

The EoS will buy your 'twinkies' at the rate of 1 solari per every 1000 m3...

Is food even useful or lootable? Why would I buy food supplies from Sol just to sell to you and lose money?

not yet sure why food and electronics was put into the game at the start. Probably something Sir Emi was working on with regards to economics before he got all caught up building a galaxy from scratch lol
It would be good to see something like a need for electronics, or food in the following manners:
For every marine, every week, you need to feed them 1 m3 of food (or maybye every 10 marines...factors to be thought up for realism) or they start dying/defecting
For damaged modules (if it ever gets implemented in combat) or maybe for building modules, then you would also need to include an electronics part as part of the requirement

Just a few ideas to make these products useful

When I first started the game, I did find an SOS that was requesting electronics. I didn't have any on me at the time.  Since then I haven't seen an SOS requiring it. I only barely remember it. lol

Hey they may be useless but at least when the sun goes nova and the solar economy collapses we can buy/sell stuff with twinkies.
