This is Commander-in-Chief Dadds, commanding Fleet #1 of the IMG corporation. To all pilots out there, several anomalies have been detected by our scout vessels appearing within the Sol quadrant of 0.0.
Our scouts report they appear to be some kind of wormhole - event horizon phenomenon which has the effect to transport a small craft through time/space and instantly materialize within another part of normal space.
We will share the experience as we cross over to our pilot of vessel "Claw" who was first on scene to explore the anomaly.
"CLAW to fleet command, Commander Dadds, come in Commander, over"
"This is Commander Dadds, fleet command 1, go ahead captain"
"CLAW TO FLEET COMMAND, request scrambled and secure communications channel skip Sir, we got something....something strange detected here sir!"
"COMMAND to CLAW.... say again?! over"
"Commmand, requesting secure communication channel clearance sir, NOW. We have something .....something on scope sir."
"RGR CLAW, switch channel to secure frequency channel my authentication BRAVO ZULU, protocol ALPHA"
hissssssss....crack....hsssssssssss....."COMMAND....CLAW...I authenticate ALPHA 1, BRAVO 1, 15629 BIZMARK"
"RGR CLAW authenticate confirmed, what do you have out there lad? Comms is secure <over>"
"Sir, its....like nothing we have seen before....a...a....a... something. Something is swamping our sensors. Our nav computers are going haywire. Please advise <over>"
"COMMAND. take it easy captain, what is your ship status? Report your status"
"Sir, hull integrity holding, shields are at full strength. The nav readings are all over the place. We are (or believe we are) in quadrant 0,0 on routine patrols, in the space between Tau Ceti and Epsilon Eridani systems, though our nav computers are spinning off the dial. We have detected a massive disturbance in space. How do we proceed? <over>"
"COMMAND> Is your vessel in any danger? Do you feel you can safely investigate anomaly? <over>"
"CLAW> I think we are OK Sir, but the nav and energy readings are way above anything our sensors can handle. We have never seen anything of this magnitude <over>"
"COMMAND> RGR proceed with caution and investigate anomaly. Are you able to get a nav lock on it? <over>"
"CLAW> Yes Sir, nav officer has reconfigured the computer to get a positive fix, proceeding to location of the disturbance.....jumping in 5..4..3..2..1...engage.................hsssssssssssssss......."
"COMMAND to CLAW, come in...<over>"
"CLAW this is COMMAND, do you read me?  Repsond. Status <over>"
"CLAW come in <over>"
"COmmAND this is....."shhhhtttttt"...this is CLAW. Barely reading you. We are on location at the anomaly....it appears to be some sort of massive vortex in space. Distorting the very fabric of local space. Navigation computers finding it difficult to hold a fix on local star systems......even light getting distorted....It is massive...such energy...navigator, get us out of here.....NAVIGATIONS report........What!!!!??? ...hssssssss....Nav, plot course out of here NOW!!!...... "
"COMMAND this is CLAW.....can you read us? Hull integrity holding, shield draining...50%. we are too close to the anomaly.....it will tear us apart in 5 mins. All attempts to escape is ripping us apart Sir. "Nav, set forward impulse engines, stand by to engage worm engines, we have only one way out of this...its into....THAT!!...all stations brace!...battlestations...code red...ENGAGE!
HISSSSSSSSSS....
We have since been in contact with the captain of CLAW. She survived the anomaly, thankfully, with no loss of life and with all ships functions operational.
She has since conducted further tests and so far have found this new anomaly, we are calling a "wormhole" to be fairly stable for now, but we cannot know until more research is conducted.
We have since discovered a 2nd anomaly for which we have sent our experienced crew into to further test these "wormholes in space"
More news to come as our researchers study the data recovered from CLAW and send science vessels out to the location of these holes in space.
That is all for now. Naturally some information cannot be released until we have studied it and are sure of what we have discovered here.

Captain's Supplement: In the spirit of science unity, I offer all other captains to post their findings regarding these strange anomalies to this news group.

We should have more of this clean up. Can we directly report any future "irrelevant discussion" to you, SirEmi?

Anyway, I have "new" information to share: the recently found star cluster has the size of 10x10 quadrants.  1

How would you compare the densities of outer quadrants to the inner ones?

Density of stars goes higher toward the inner quadrants. As high as 16 stars in a single quadrant and as low as only one. LOL

IMG forward scouts have discovered an odd space-location dilation with the event horizon we are currently experiencing.
Depending on which side you approach the wormhole event dictates your relative position in time-space.
2 vessels approaching from either side of the same wormhole physically report as being in the exact same location, however they are actually worlds apart and cannot see each other in space.
We assume its similar to being on two sides of the looking glass. While in the event horizon, we "appear" to be on the other side but in reality, until you move through and past the anomaly, you are not actually in that part of space yet.
Hoping some of our leading Sol Physicists can look into this phenomenon of spatial reality and come up with a solution so that ships can meet up on either side of the unknown anomaly.

TGE will also be setting up a public fueling station in the outer void.  TGE Express is scheduled to leave at 12 am eastern standard time.  A defense station will be set up along side it on the off chance someone decides they want to attack it. This station's purpose will be for public refueling. TGE expects IMG to uphold it's agreement to not destroy public fueling stations set up by TGE.

Not sure if it was an agreement since there were no shake of the hands. It was to do with being honorable and to not destroy public refuelling stations set up by yourself for the purpose of assisting other pilots. I did also comment that any build up of military structures will be dealt with accordingly. I dont recommend putting up a military station next to a fuel station. Co-lateral damage can be unfortunate.

Unfortunately the actions of one Jake recently has made it important to set up a defense station.  I have heard reports from Sargas of Jake destroying some of his since you made an agreement with him on public fueling stations.  Please understand this is simply a security precaution and the station won't exceed 10 mill power. It actually will be quite lower then that.  I am stripping down my Hybrid ship for this station so that I don't have to custom make anything.  Also I can never be to sure if other players out there might decide to destroy it.  You can never be too careful.  I will publicly announce the location of the station though once it is set up.  That way all the public can know where it is and can use it to buy fuel if they need some.
