laugh Only when we have our own corp headquarter.

Sadly even then that won't break the rule on them requiring us to have licenses. lol. I want to add more to my little joke there.

Crew: "Captain the new ship we found is good to go. We can fly it out of here at any time."

Captain: "Negative on that."

Crew: "Sir?"

Captain: "We don't have the money for licensing to fly it from Sol Corp"

Crew: "I thought we were on our corp. We are richer, far more powerful. Why do we still answer to them?"

Captain: "Because that is how %$&@ up this galaxy is."

Crew: "Permission to speak freely?"

Captain: "Granted."

Crew: "What they don't know won't hurt them."

Captain: "Alright fine let's try."

Alien Ship starts to take off with new crew on board to reach orbit with the other ship that is waiting for them when a small weak ship bearing the Sol logo comes flying up with flashing lights. They open communications with the ship in orbit.

Sol Corp Ship: "Land that alien ship immediately! You do not have the proper licensing to fly it"

Captain of the lead ship: "Umm have you noticed how much stronger we are then you?"

Sol Corp Ship: "That is irreverent."

The sold corp ship somehow sends out some sort of command that automatically disables the new alien ship.

Captain of the lead ship: "Where did you get the command codes for the alien ship? You didn't make it?"

Sol Corp Ship: "That doesn't matter. Pay for the proper licensing and.......is that a combat timer I am seeing?"

The lead ship in orbit fires off it's lasers. The Sol Corp's ship's shielding fails and it auto-jumps to the safe zone. Meanwhile back on the alien ship.

Crew member: "Can we blast off now?"

Captain: "Negative. It appears Sol Corp and the aliens who built these ships are in bed together. It doesn't matter how hard we hit them. in the end we are still their %#@#&es"

Crew member: "I just don't understand this."

Captain: "Neither do I.  Nothing in this universe makes any sense. But that's life I suppose. Now if you will excuse me.

The captain pulls out his laser pistol and shoots himself in the head.

The crew member bust out crying and falls to his knees next to his fallen captain.

Crew: "%#$% you Sol corp!!!!!!!!!!!  %#$% you all to hell!!!!!!!!!!

The scene fades out.

Sorry I got a very over active imagination lol

Perhaps there could be a new type of ship license... something like an "exotic ship license," that would cost more money than a standard ship license, but scale similarly. We would all start out with 0, so it would be relatively cheap for bigger players to get their first few licenses... this would allow the really big players to enjoy the upcoming new ship types without having to spend billions of solars to capture a small alien or pirate craft. And since you have to complete missions or go looking for these ships, the really huge players wouldn't be able to get an unbalanced amount of growth out of these relatively cheap first licenses, because they still have to FIND the exotic ships 1.

I forgot to mention there's a lot of graphics for debries and stuff, derelicts, wrecks, spooky asteroids and strange phenomena that will be explorable in wormhole and blackhole events....

The funny thing is a corp can easily trash Sol ships ment to protect those crap trade stations. They can even destroy those stations. But no matter how much bigger and stronger we are and what we do, they still sell us resources. Of course they were to cut us off then it should be made possible to blow them up at Earth. Which it is not lol. The irony of the game. The Sol Corp, weak as can be but they still have all of us by our balls.  lol

Maybe we can also add a small consequence for attacking Sol corp assets. I destroyed all trade stations once, went back to Sol, and they still treated me as if nothing happened. LOL Maybe the Sol corp can stop selling for some time, or maybe even send a few ships to attack our own assets.. Just add a tiny bit of realism into the game.. Let's not even talk about that !@#$ Admiral Curtis. LOL

lol. Shame we can't just overtake them. I wouldn't mind wiping out what they have at earth. Then they have the nerve from somehow preventing us from mining at venus. lol
