91  Feedback Terminal / Suggestions / Re: A proper how-to/newbie guide on: February 24, 2015, 09:08:42 AM
I was actually thinking of starting a Wiki for Astro Galaxy, but I'll need a few volunteers to build the content...

Need to add the SEA steps with images and more detailed instructions on how to complete the steps.

Also links to more comprehensive pages about how mining works, signals, events and the battle system, ships and optimizations, stations, planetary etc.

Always check your ship cargo log for any problems with transactions...

We might actually add a buy back button at maybe 125% of the cost for transactions done with NPC in the future.
93  General Talk / News & Strategy / Upcoming update on: February 24, 2015, 08:21:00 AM
Hello captains,

There's a big interface update coming that will make it much much more easier to implement new missions, dialogs and such.

The dialogs will be mobile friendly like you see below:

You will be able to interact better with your passengers, events, missions, distress signals etc.

Also adding new drawing technology that will enable us to use some of the client browser resources to draw on pictures, greatly increasing the level of immersion because there will be special missions with space monsters etc.

The system view, star maps etc. will also get a boost, making the nav computer data available while in the system view and having it display properly on mobiles as well:

We're also implementing the new resource called Action Points (AP) that will help new players get started, will be usable to speed up the ship timer.

So please bare with us, there are great things coming  1

If the structure has converted it should be safe and understandable.

Will do some tests and will find it, thank you.

I'll check it out. The overweight ship should occupy more hangar space, but the mothership should be ok if it has enough hangar space...

Welcome!   1

The ships you have can travel in different parts of space and are independent of each other.

But you can also dock ship(s) into another ship if you install Hangar Bays on the parent ship. Thus the ship docked will travel together with the mother-ship  1

Space monsters lurk between the star clusters. Each star cluster has around 700 - 1500 stars in it.

Wait, wait. Is this for real, SirEmi?

Or maybe not..  puppyeyes

Space monsters not yet... but will be soon.

Astro Galaxy - a realistic space exploration game

In Astro Galaxy, you start from Earth orbit and colonize the Sol system, then you can explore / colonize new stars.
All this happens while other players do the same, so inevitable conflicts happen leading to awesome space and planetary battles.

Key features:
* Landing on planets. Establish mining colonies / military outposts / science outposts.
* Deploy space stations. Mining outpost support or fortified military / science facilities.
* Explore wormhole / black holes and other special events. Beware of space monsters.
* Explore ancient alien civilization remains. Encounter aliens and fight them.
* Real time space travel. The navigation computer takes real time to calculate a trajectory from point A to point B.
* Modular ships and stations design, ships have a hull type and you install modules in slots. This way, depending on what is installed on each slot, the ship can be a civilian or military or in between type.
* The ship has weapons / shields / manpower, you really have to hire personnel on your ships before setting off to explore. Losing personnel in battles makes the modules less efficient
* You can hail a ship and talk to another captain in real time, just like in Star Trek movies (text, no audio)
* The Galaxy / Universe is pretty much infinite, you can travel from Sol and never reach the edge. Do be careful once you get into uncharted space
* The combat implements a timer for positioning units. The more power is involved in combat, the more time it would take to initialize the attack. In this time, either one of the parties involved can retreat or bring in more reinforcements. so if a powerful ship attacks a small ship, the small ship has ample time to run away. The combat for ships / stations / planetary is merged into a global system.

Dynamic wormholes open and close withing star clusters and between them.

The Star map can allow you to plot Long Range courses between huge star clusters thousands of Light Years away. An autopilot extension is available...

And that's not all. Have you seen how customizable the ships are with modular designs? You can even have Mother-ships that carry other ships in their hangar.

103  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Re: Titan Price at Sol does not display when buying ship. on: December 14, 2014, 01:01:15 PM

Display bug fixed, thanks. It was only intended for changing ship hulls, for current hull it won't display any price.
104  Feedback Terminal / "Bugs" and Problems / Re: Bugs related to the new patch on: December 11, 2014, 08:00:09 AM
Yes... perhaps this isn't a bug so much as a broken function. The feature consistently fails to work when I use my stations to command mining modules.

Works beautifully for my ships, though!

It's only implemented for ships atm... will add it to stations asap.
105  Info Terminal / Updates / Re: Enhancements & Patches #9 on: December 10, 2014, 08:02:34 AM
We will put a select box multiplier next to the Level UP button in Science, with 3x,5x,20x,50x,100x level jumps.
